This page is an introduction of
myself, my buddies, and silly stuff.
I have been in New Orleans to learn both English and Music since January, 2001.
In the mean time,
this page
will show you pictures with my point of view.
I have been in the U.S. since September 2000. At first, I got to Seattle then
moved to New Orleans. So what's hip, shu? I said "check it out".

Mr. Bernard Purdie: http://www.bernardpurdie.com
In 1997,
Bernard purdie came to teach Meiji University Jazz Big Band where I had played
as 4th tenor saxophone. It was unforgettable experience for me and Magnum
because we had been big fan of him when we met him. He taught us how important
to keep groove while bands are playing. Also he showed us how to sounds
big, not loudly. We still keep in touch with him. He is the drummer who
plays with great musicians such as Aretha Franklin and James Brown . This picture
is shot in Blue Note Tokyo and he was kidding me.
Count
Basie Orchestra: The
legendary swing Jazz Big band. I was lucked out when I had an opportunity to
play with them.
Last year I could meet them at Paramount Theater (Seattle) and have some conversations
before they played.
I am still digin' on Count Basie Orchestra. I have learned foundations of music
from them.

great gigs.
Sometimes awesome guest players jam with us. I was always fun to talk to
member and people after the show.
It is very fantastic to have an opportunity to get involve with such fabulous
people.

Yushoku
Dou:In Tokyo,
Youshoku Dou was one of the finest Sake Bar, which served Traditional
Japanese diet like Sashimi, Nimono, Tukemono, and sea foods, and served variety
of international foods.
Mr. Sasaki,an owner, made comfortable atmosphere and gave us his culinary
arts.
Most significance thing is that people those who come and chill out there are
like Yusyoku Dou and music.
It was very presure that I and Magnum began to have gigs there twice a month. We
had great time!
However, Yushoku Dou closed January 2001. Yushoku Dou forever.
